  Browser Versions And Settings 

myHFS supported Operating Systems and Web Browsers:

Operating System Browser
Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or higher
Microsoft Windows
  • Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.06 or higher.
  • Netscape 6 is not supported.
  • Netscape 7.0x is supported
  • Netscape 7.1 is not supported.

Java Virtual Machine (JVM) Requirements
 
  • For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, the Microsoft Virtual Machine (VM) and the Sun Java Plugin v1.4.2 are supported.
  • For the Netscape 7.0.x browser, the Sun Java Plugin v1.4.2 is supported.
  • The Sun Java Plugin v1.3.1 / v1.4.0 are not supported. 
You may need to install a new JVM into your browser. Click on the Java button to go to Sun's automatic Java download site. This will install Sun's latest JRE.

If you have problems running the latest JRE from Sun, please download this version of the JRE which appears to have no problems with our applications.

myHFS compatible settings:

Microsoft Internet Explorer: Netscape Communicator/Navigator:
Under "Internet Options -> Security" select for the zone "internet": Under "Preferences -> Advanced" select:
  • Security level "Medium" (the default)
  • For IE 6, Privacy level "Medium" (the default)
  • "Enable Java"
  • "Enable JavaScript"
  • "Accept Cookies"
"Warn me before accepting a cookie" must NOT be selected
